Sue Jackson
Sue Jackson took up her current post as Associate Director of Performance at Manchester Primary Care Trust (PCT) 1st November 2007.
She has spent almost 30 years within healthcare in a variety of roles; Nursing, Midwifery, Research, Projects, and Senior Management. Sue also still practices as a bank midwife ensuring that her statutory clinical and educational requirements are met. Following the successful completion of the MBA in 1996, Sue secured a position at the European Centre for Total Quality Management where she spent two and a half years working European-wide within the area of total quality management and organisational excellence.
She is a founder member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Health Sector Group. Between 2000 and 2003 Sue worked as Head of Programmes at the Centre for Excellence Development, University of Salford where she provided research and leadership support to a team of associates and lecturers undertaking research and providing consultancy within the field of healthcare and higher education. In this role Sue supported many healthcare organisations worldwide to apply the concepts of continuous performance improvement into practice.
Sue’s expertise lies in the areas of the European
Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model, the Balanced
Scorecard, Performance Management, Total Quality Management, the use of quality
tools, Integrated Governance and coaching using Neuro-Linguistic Programming
methods.
